Mindfulness Meditation: COVID Edition
During this crazy, stressful time, it's hard to remain calm, to stay in the moment without spinning out into all the what-ifs and scary proclamations. If you want help learning how to use mindfulness meditation as a tool for gaining perspective, use the contact tab. Let me know. I am happy to help free-of-charge.

I was trained by the Mindful Schools organization to teach mindfulness meditation to K-12 students, but the method is the same for everyone. In fact, I team-taught a two-day mindfulness course to law students!
For a time, mindfulness was the big buzz word. Mindful this and mindful that. But it's actually not new at all. People have been practicing mindfulness for millennia, and for good reason. Mindfulness focuses on the present moment. Not what you should have done yesterday or what needs to happen next week. By focusing on the present moment--often by simply following one's breath--you give yourself a break and show yourself some self-compassion. We live in a crazy world. Mindfulness meditation can help put the brakes on so you can stop and smell the roses.
